Teams
There are circumstances when a group of people within an organization are having difficulty achieving full productivity. Here are a few examples of real situations:
- A sales organization went through a series of changes in a short period of time. Eleven regions were restructured as seven. Half of the regional sales managers were newly appointed to that level. There was a strategic push for increased sales. A program was developed to coach all of these executives individually including the head of sales and the seven regional managers as well as the team as a whole.
- Two segments of an organization were butting heads excessively. The sales area was uncomfortable with the reach of operations into their territory and operations felt that many sales opportunities were being neglected. A one day off-site was delivered to eliminate this dysfunction.
- An advertising firm had one team that was experiencing a lot of rancor. Coaching was provided to the head of the team and the team simultaneously.
