Executive Coaching - Phase I
Phase I takes about two months and involves information gathering from the executive, his/her boss, peers and subordinates to develop up to three coaching goals with the following activities:
- Discovery – A two hour meeting with the executive to review his/her career to date, current responsibilities, place in the organization and issues that he/she believes would be suitable for coaching goals.
- 360 – A series of one hour discussions with 8 to 12 people including the executuve's boss, peers, subordinates and other key executives (frequently HR) to get insights as to the executive’s strengths and areas that need development.
- Goals – Using the information gathered, developing up to three coaching goals which are reviewed with the boss, and HR if appropriate.
